Creating something different

Hello Peace Seekers,

We bought a diesel automobile this week.  A 2002 VW Bug.  We are converting it to run on used veggie oil.  I work with a group that collects the oil from local restaurants and filters it.  The whole conversion takes less than $500.00 and we are free from the oil industry.  At least a little:)

This project is really picking up steam.  I have spread the word to hundreds about bio diesel and the message is spurring action.  I would love to spread the know how to many of you.  If you have any questions or would like to know more about the process let me know.

Peace,

Speaking up

A group of peace activists and I went to our farmers market again today.  Dozens of people stopped by our table and took literature.  There is a showing of a Noam Chomsky movie this week and the response to that was great.

We are the media.  The media has its agenda, it is up to us who know the truth about this war to speak to the public.  It makes an impact when people see that they are not alone in their thoughts.  We peace seekers are many, we just need to reach out to each other.

Small actions!!

Todays action

Some of the simplest things we do are hurting others in the world.  I think we need to stop financing those  companies that are perpetrating these atrocities.

1.Coca-Cola - Guilty of starving entire villages of water by draining aquifers in India and South America.  Union busting in South America, many murders have occurred that are related to Coke.

2.Pepsi - For many of the same reasons as Coke.

3.Wal-Mart - Union busting, abusive to all low level employees.  From withholding overtime pay to closing stores when unions start showing up.  Chinese labor, killing our work force by moving millions of jobs over seas.

Simple, not to overwhelming.  A little change in our own habits go a long way towards global justice.  Please use whatever chance you have to help people understand that some of the places they shop or products they buy are causing serious problems.  Not just for some kid over seas, but for their own jobs.

Peace will win,

The end is the begining

I see the continuous cycle of brutality that infects our culture ending. Mankind will eventually push itself to the edge.  Each generation thinks they are going to see a world ending event, but our ability to destroy has never been so grand. We wield this power as if no one would dare strike us. Yet the war machine presses on in its short sided vision of the future.

I am continually reassured that great things are coming. Rising out of the system, communities within this order that agree to live in peace.  Groups of people dedicated enough to their cause that they come here to change the world and help make positive difference.

Within this aggressive America, I find peace everyday in my brothers and sisters. I see people giving themselves to their families. I see people help the less fortunate with all they have.

Only the few dedicated people stayed the course. Whether it is for good or evil. You and I have that power. You and I can help change manifest. You and I can make little differences every day and build those differences into a movement.

All I can aim for in my life; total peace for everyone that seek it. This is not a big goal. It simply requires a little personal change along with a commitment to justice.  In the purchases we make alone, we help to determine what the planet will be for our children.

I thank you, all of you that are reaching out and helping others. I praise all of you who opened your minds and hearts to serve others.

Not too long ago in my own life I was ignorant to the state of the earth around me. I lived in a bubble of bliss where I did no wrong if I did not have to see it myself. When I opened my eyes I had an instant vision. I had a vision that I had to seek change.

Many of the people in our government start out with a plan to change the world for the better. They find quickly that the road blocks are large and built on generations of wealth.

We all need to use our collective voices and dollars to force change.

At the end of the day we have to change more than our government. It all begins with peace. Peace has to be the first thing on your mind when a disagreement arises.

"In times of universal deceit, telling the truth will be a revolutionary act." George Orwell

Never stop spreading the message of peace and love. If you are not, start now. Start speaking to others about changing habits and breaking down old walls.

Peace will prevail. Love will win.

Revolution is at hand

With a mighty stick I stand

Prepared to give all I possess

Love flows and I progress

Revolution starts in you

Showing you heart, being true

To stand alone on your two feet

Walking the lonely path in the streets

Revolution starts right now

Feel yourself crawling out

To the light of peace and dignity

Ideas born today will set you free!

Take a Stand Today

The news stories and propaganda that flows from the TV makes me think.  It makes me think about how stupid the controlling powers think we are.  Are we?  Do we believe the lies?  We must.  We let our government press on with unconstitutional policies.  We let them march us to war on a pack of lies and do nothing about it.

This has to stop.  You and I need to stand together and take actions against our oppressors.  Progressive people need to wake up to a simple fact.

We don't need to change the minds of those who disagree with us.
All we have to do is get the millions of us who do see the truth to stand as one.Your bullheaded neighbor or uncle does not need to change his mind.  We can create a change without them.  They will follow as they always do.  Most people are just too afraid to lead.

Peace,

Working for Peace

On Saturday mornings in my town we have a farmers market. Our group of anti war folks are setting up a booth.  We will be speaking truth about the state of the world.  We will be sharing the truth about war and what is taking place all over the middle east and Asia.

I think everyone who knows this war is wrong should be using some time like this to share the truth.  I do not find myself in arguments as often as you would think.  Most people agree with me they feel alone, but they and you are not alone.  Most of your brothers and sisters are against these acts.

I implore you to do what you can to spread the message of peace.  Most of the world is screaming out for it and we have been silent for far too long.

Peace and Love,

Ideas born today will set you free.

Not long ago I myself did not think of how I affected the world.  I used to concentrate on the "American Dream" and what that could do for me.  I kept running into questions I did not want to have answered.  Knowing too much about what your personal actions do to others can be uncomfortable to think about.

This war on Terror has rocked my beliefs.  I started researching what I once did not care about.  I started opening my eyes to the oneness of this world.  MY own actions daily were helping to perpetuate violence or slavery of one form or another.

So, what can little me in a world full of old money and centralized media mega giants controlling the message do?

I started taking responsibility for my own life.  I started changing everything I could to reduce my input into this machine of violence.  We will be chating about many things here that will help us to change the world.  I hope that we can have open discussions that help educate everyone about there own impact.

Peace will win in the end.  The powerful are overreaching, and forward thinking people are needed to manifest change.

My wife and I just joined a Community Supported Agriculture Project.  Over 40 local farms are selling organic produce directly to our group!!!

Peace and Love,
